Itinerary

Day 1 Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver, make your way to your downtown hotel. Use your sightseeing pass to experience Vancouver at your own pace. The tour bus accesses  all of the city’s top attractions including Chinatown, Stanley Park, Gastown, English Bay Beach, and the Robson Street Shopping District.

Days 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Vancouver to Toronto

You’ll have all day to continue touring Vancouver with your “Hop on, Hop Off” bus pass, before boarding a VIA Rail "Canadian" train for an evening departure. Basic sleeping quarters are provided aboard the train in a private cabin for 1 or 2 people. From Vancouver you’ll travel north into British Columbia’s interior, before entering the famed Canadian Rockies in the early afternoon of Day 3. Here, you’ll pass towering snow-draped peaks, cascading streams and earth-carving glaciers. After the Rockies, the geography levels out as you enter Saskatchewan and then Manitoba – Canada’s breadbasket. Both provinces feature endless horizons dominated by swaying grasslands and golden fields of wheat. Your train then huffs into Ontario, scooting just north of the Great Lakes, before reaching Toronto in the morning of Day 6. You’ll have the rest of the day to tour Canada’s largest city. We've included a bus tour of Toronto. Mix a little history and some great stories with the opportunity to sample several of the region's finest local brews in unique and historical pubs in Old Toronto on this popular tour. Along the way, shop for local delicacies in the famous St. Lawrence Market. Other sightseeing tour options are available, including a narrated harbour cruise, and helicopter ride. Ask your Vacation Planner for details.

Day 7 Toronto

Your tour ends upon checking out of your hotel.

This itinerary is also available in reverse on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays.
