Canada Rail Vacations - Booking Conditions

In order to complete your booking, agreement to the following conditions is required. These conditions apply to all guests included on your booking, and by agreeing you are consenting on their behalf.

Non-refundable Deposit

I understand that a non-refundable deposit, in the amount as as indicated on my quote, is required to secure my booking, and that before any payment is made, my booking can be cancelled at any time without pentaly.
*Upon receipt of this form and your deposit (in-full), Canada Rail Vacations will provide an invoice with confirmation of your vacation within 24 hours.

Interim & Final Payments

I understand that, as per Canada Rail Vacations terms and conditions, once I have received an invoice with confirmation of my vacation, all payments made are non-refundable. I also understand that after final payment has been made 70 days before my trip, that modifications are not permitted.
*Any interim payments made by you, or any other guest travelling with you, are non-refundable; additionally, if you choose to pay your final balance in full in advance of your due date (as stated on your confirmation invoice), you do so at your discretion and with the knowledge that it is non-refundable.

Flights, Cruises & Connections

I understand that Canada Rail Vacations advises not to book flights, cruises or any other connections until I have received my confirmation invoice.
*Canada Rail Vacations is not responsible if you, or any other guest travelling with you, books flights, cruises, or any other connection otherwise, before your receipt of your confirmation invoice.

Travel Insurance

I understand that Canada Rail Vacations highly recommends travel insurance to protect my investment, in the event I need to cancel my vacation due to unforeseen circumstances.
*Insurance coverage depends on your provider; Canada Rail Vacations does not provide, nor speculate on, potential coverage. If you aren't sure where to start, we recommend contacting Sanderson Travel Insurance (their details will be included when we send your confirmation invoice).

Managing Your Remaining Balance

The balance of your vacation is due, in full, 70 days prior to your departure. Please let us know how you would prefer to handle managing your payment(s). Please note: Any selection made now can be changed in the future. Regardless of your choice, we will contact you no later than 1 week in advance, by email to confirm your selection and provide you with any required details or links.

*All payment are charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD); you can contact us to change your selection at any time.

We will send a confirmation email a week in advance of your due date before charging your card on file.
Note: If your card is due to expire during your payment plan, please contact us when you receive your new card and we can update your expiry.

A confirmation email will be sent a week in advance of your due date with a payment link for your remaining balance.

We will contact you by email approximately two weeks in advance of your due date with the necessary details for a wire transfer.
Important note: For bank wire transfer payments, you will need to bring a copy of your invoice in addition to our banking information to your bank for payment processing. Canada Rail Vacations is not able to aid or facilitate any wire transfer payments attempting to be made via online banking.

We will provide you with a payment link for you to make interim payments in any amount at your discretion. For your protection, a limit of CAD $2000 will be set to avoid any accidental numerical entries.
You will receive an email approximately one week in advance with a payment link in the amount of your remaining balance or to confirm charge of your card on file. Either option can be changed at any time.

Canada Rail Vacations will manually charge your card, our payment system (Stripe) will not automatically charge you. In the event of your cancellation, your payments will cease and your card will no longer be charged.
