Some Branch Out Tour Package FAQs

What’s the difference between SilverLeaf and GoldLeaf Service on the train?

We will not charge any deposit at time of booking. We will only take your credit card number. Full payment for the trip will be charged to your card on June 4, 2021. There is no cost to cancel before this time.

Can I remove the night in Banff or Vancouver and reduce the price?

As part of this package deal, we’ve thrown in this hotel night for free in Banff and Vancouver. Thus it will not change the price if you don’t utilize the hotel night. We encourage you to enjoy these locations as we’ve picked really nice located hotels, close to all amenities. Rocky Mountaineer have a strict price discount clause so we are offering this for the absolute lowest price that we can.

How do I get to/ from Banff and Calgary?

We recommend booking a shuttle with either Brewster Express or Banff Airporter. You may also have friends who wish to drive you.

What time do I need to be in Banff or Vancouver at the beginning of my trip?

As you’ll have a hotel the night before the train departs, we recommend getting there to check in any time after 4 pm. You’ll have the evening to yourself and be picked up the next morning in our bus to be transferred to the train station.

How do I get between the hotels and the train stations?

All transfers are included. You’ll be picked up and dropped off with your luggage each day in Banff, Kamloops and Vancouver.

What hotels will we be staying at?

We’ll be booking the hotels on demand and will likely be one of the following:

Vancouver: Hampton Inn & Suites, The Sutton Place Hotel, Georgian Court Hotel, Blue Horizon Hotel, Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, Holiday Inn & Suites Downtown

Each day you’ll be picked up at your hotel around 7 am and arrive into the station at night around 6 pm. A detailed itinerary will be sent out a few weeks before travel.

Can I change the name on the ticket if something comes up?

There is no fee to change or cancel before June 4, 2021. After this date, Rocky Mountaineer do not allow for name changes and you will be charged the full price of the train ticket to change the name on the ticket.

Will this offer be available in August or September?

We are offering this July special to help out our friends at Rocky Mountaineer and support our friends at Branch Out Foundation. It is unlikely that we’ll be able to offer two free hotel nights plus make a donation at these prices ever again. However, please feel free to browse our website as we have other tours that might be of interest to you.
