Private Tour Description

This private tour offers a stop near Maligne Canyon, where you will have the opportunity to observe the impact of the Jasper wildfires and gain insight into wildfire fire ecology and its role in the natural life cycle. Visit several scenic viewpoints, including Pyramid Lake, Patricia Lake, Medicine Lake, and Maligne Lake, where you will enjoy a lake cruise*. Throughout the journey, you will be immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of Jasper National Park and, depending on the season, may encounter various wildlife, such as elk, moose, bears, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and wolves.

From June through September, a 1.5-hour cruise on Maligne Lake is included, where you’ll have the chance to visit the iconic Spirit Island. From October to May, you may visit other sites around Jasper depending on seasonal weather conditions, or engage in other activities, such as hiking the Mary Schaffer Loop, hiking to Moose Lake, riding the Jasper Skytram, or setting out in search of wildlife.

This tour is mainly a nature, scenic, and geological voyage, but it is also an excellent opportunity to see some of Jasper’s abundant wildlife, with the possibility of seeing elk, moose, bears, big-horned sheep, mountain goats, wolves, and more, depending on the time of year.
