Starting from Calgary you will spend one night in Banff and two nights at the exquisite Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise before boarding the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer. In addition to experiencing world-class service, from the glass-domed train car you will have spectacular views of magnificent mountains, lakes, and waterfalls. The trip concludes in the stunning city of Vancouver on Canada’s West Coast where you will have time to explore and relax while breathing refreshing ocean air.

Daily Itinerary
Day 1 - Scenic Transfer from Calgary to Banff
Once you arrive in Calgary you will immediately be transferred to Banff. You’ll enjoy views of the mountains and you embark on this short, but scenic transfer.
The rest of the day is yours to explore Banff at your leisure. This charming little mountain town is home to lots of different dining options, walking trails and the Banff Upper Hot Springs, an outdoor hot pool with a great view of Mount Rundle. Spend the night in your Banff hotel room.
Day 2 - Banff to Lake Louise Mountains, Lakes and Waterfalls Tour
Your bus leaves in the morning and offers you a guided tour of the area between Banff and Lake Louise. Cross the Continental Divide, and pass through Yoho National Park offering scenic sights such as Takakkaw Falls, Kicking Horse Pass, Emerald Lake and the Natural Rock Bridge that spans across the Kicking Horse River. You will spend tonight at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This world famous lake is known as the Jewel of the Canadian Rockies and is one of the most photographed locations in the world.
Day 3 - Lake Louise
Choose how you want to spend the day! Options include canoeing, hiking a scenic mountain trail or hanging back, relaxing, and taking some pictures.

Day 4 - Rocky Mountaineer Train from Lake Louise to Kamloops
Raise your glass to celebrate your first day on board the Rocky Mountaineer! After leaving Lake Louise, you’ll soon cross over into British Columbia and begin winding through the Rockies.
Enjoy fresh meals as you pass by sights such as Yoho National Park, the Spiral Tunnels and Rodgers Pass. The landscape will change dramatically as you leave the mountains and approach the city of Kamloops, where you will spend the night in your hotel room.
Day 5 - Rocky Mountaineer Train from Kamloops to Vancouver
The mountains return and combine with thick fir forests and the mighty Fraser River to create a spectacular setting for your last day aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. Today, one of the highlights will be passing by Hell’s Gate, a narrow canyon that transforms the Fraser River into a powerful surge of water rapids.
Arrive in Vancouver in the late afternoon and after checking into your hotel, take advantage of your “Hop On, Hop Off” bus pass to explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in your downtown Vancouver hotel room.
Day 6 - Vancouver
Explore Canada’s third-largest city with your “Hop on, Hop Off” bus pass. Explore popular destinations like Stanley Park, Granville Island and Gastown, and realize why Vancouver is called one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
