Discover Banff Tour Including Gondola

This tour is the perfect introduction to Banff and includes some of Banff’s most scenic and historically significant highlights such as the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner Lookout, and Banff’s largest lake, Lake Minnewanka. You’ll then be transported to the base of Sulphur Mountain and ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain at 7,486 feet. At the summit, marvel at the unsurpassed view of Banff, the Bow Valley and a 360 degree view of six scenic mountain ranges. You’ll feel like you’re on top of the world when you are standing on the spacious main level observation deck. After your download on the Banff Gondola, our guide will transport you back to your Banff hotel. It’s a great tour for seeing wildlife, so don’t forget your camera! And ask as many questions as you like, our guides are Banff experts and love to share their knowledge.

This tour is approximately 5.5 hours.

Please be ready and out front of your hotel in the bus pick-up area 5 minutes prior to the listed pick-up time. Please be patient if the bus does not arrive exactly on time as the pick up time can vary slightly from day to day. Look out for a blue bus with the Discover Banff logo. Please be sure that you do not get on a different bus as there are many different companies that will be doing their pick ups at similar times. Please have the provided Jonview Voucher readily available on hand or on your mobile device to present to the driver.

Please note that it may be cooler at the top of Sulphur Mountain due to the elevation change. Packing an extra layer of clothes may make for a more enjoyable experience at the top. Do not bring your luggage on this tour as you will be dropped off at your hotel once the tour has been completed.
