Jasper SkyTram Information
Jasper’s Peak Attraction, the Jasper SkyTram. This is the longest and highest aerial tramway in the Rockies!
Your Skytram Guide will provide a fully narrated tour during the seven-minute ride to the visitor’s centre which sits atop Whistler’s Mountain at an elevation of 2263 metres (7425 feet). While at the top, take in the breathtaking views from the visitor’s centre, or hike to the summit of Whistlers Mountain for 360-degree views of six mountain ranges – including the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson.
The SkyTram with Shuttle includes round-trip transportation to select Jasper hotels plus your ticket to the top. Jasper SkyTram Admission is for those making their own way to the attraction.
The Summit Cafe on the top level of the upper station will offer a full-service dining experience for those who wish to have lunch with a view. The lower station’s Basecamp Cafe opens in May and will serve takeaway drinks, snacks and a full ice cream bar.
Joining Instructions:
For Jasper SkyTram with Shuttle
Please call ahead at 1 888 786 3641 to confirm a shuttle time, location, and that there will be space available. Please meet at the designated pick-up location 10 minutes prior to the listed pick-up time and look out for a bus with the SunDog logo. When you are ready to leave the Skytram, make your way to the designated pick up area to meet the next available shuttle back to your Jasper hotel. If the shuttle is not available at a suitable time to you, please take a taxi to the Jasper Skytram.
Upon arrival, please make your way to the Ticket Window to exchange the Jonview Vouchers included in your Travel Documents for tickets. At this time, you will be asked to choose a designated return flight from Upper Station to avoid lineups and to allow more leisure time in the alpine. If you are planning to do some hiking on the trails, you should plan for at least two hours.
For Jasper SkyTram Admission
If your travel documents do not include an assigned time, it is recommended that you call ahead to reserve your time at 1 866 850 8726. This is especially important during the peak months of July and August as you may experience long wait times.
Unless you are visiting as part of a pre-arranged private tour, please take a taxi to the Skytram and arrive 20 minutes before your flight time. Taxi fares from town range from CAD $25 – $30 per direction. Upon arrival, please make your way to the Ticket Window to exchange your vouchers for tickets.
