When traveling on a two-day Rocky Mountaineer train route between Vancouver and Banff, Lake Louise, or Jasper, you will make an overnight stop in Kamloops, BC. Due to the long days onboard the train, this stop is often for less than 12 hours. Your hotel for the night is included with your Rocky Mountaineer train ticket and the name of the hotel you will be staying at is noted on your boarding pass which you will receive when you check in to board the train.
All hotels in Kamloops are considered “moderate” accommodations (approximately 3 stars) and there is no hotel pre-selection. While these accommodations are clean and comfortable, they may not be as luxurious as those in other destinations on your journey. Your room key will be provided to you shortly before the train arrives in Kamloops. Transportation will be provided between the train and the hotel and your luggage will be waiting for you in your room when you arrive.
