Golf is included in select golf-specific tours, and we’ve played every course on the list ourselves. Fairmont Banff Springs and Jasper Park Lodge, both shaped by golf architect Stanley Thompson in the 1920s, remain two of Canada’s most storied courses, set against the Bow and Athabasca valleys. Fairmont Chateau Whistler climbs into the coastal mountains near Blackcomb, while Kananaskis Country’s two courses run through the Bow Valley alongside Silvertip Resort and Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club, both just outside of Banff National Park in Canmore.
